Animal Hospital (Anomaly) is one of the fastest-growing horror games on Roblox, regularly pushing past 40,000 concurrent players. It mixes the cozy art of a vet clinic with the dread of an anomaly-detection thriller: most of your patients are ordinary animals, but a few are monsters wearing a familiar face. This wiki is built to help you read every patient correctly, treat the real ones, and reject the Skinwalkers before they tear your shift apart.
If you are brand new, start with How to Play for the core loop, then learn How to Spot Anomalies — the single most important skill in the game.
The core loop in one minute
Every night you repeat the same loop, and mastering its rhythm is what carries you to the late shifts:
- Check in patients at the reception desk. Each one is either a normal animal or an Anomaly in disguise.
- Inspect them with three tools — your own eyes, the lobby cameras, and the check-in photo.
- Admit or reject. Press the red Shutter button on the left of your desk to reject anything suspicious. Admit the genuine patients.
- Treat the real patients across the treatment rooms — Basic Medical, X-Ray, Heart Monitor and Surgery.
- Manage your Sanity with coffee and food, and survive events and emergencies until the shift ends.
The more Anomalies you reject and the more patients you cure, the higher your end-of-shift score and the more cash you earn for the shop.
What you will find on this wiki
This site is organized around the keywords players actually search for, so you can jump straight to the answer you need.
- Anomalies — the heart of the game. We catalogue every tell across in-person visual signs, camera anomalies and photo anomalies, then tie them together in a single how-to-spot workflow.
- Guides — deep walkthroughs for every player level: how to play, how to survive and protect your Sanity, how to get money fast, how to beat the game, co-op tactics, controls and the hospital map.
- Codes — the live code situation, how redemption works, and the expired codes archive.
- Treatment — step-by-step room guides so you never lose a patient to a wrong item.
- Enemies — how to deal with Skinwalkers, the Bed Monster, the Stalker, and every wall and ceiling threat.
- Events — handle the Barney storyline, the Ambulance rush, fires and burns, and the Death Ritual.
- Items — what to buy first, from weapons to Sanity food and treatment items.
- Tier List — how dangerous each Anomaly and threat really is.
Why anomaly detection is a memory game
The skill that separates players who reach shift 10 from players who die on shift 3 is not reflexes — it is memory. The game reuses categories of tells even as the specific patient changes. A patient with three eyes, hollow sockets, realistic human teeth, or a too-wide grin is always wrong. A camera feed that shows a black box over the eyes, stretched limbs, or a figure staring straight into the lens is always wrong. A photo that does not match the patient in front of you, or that comes out full of static, is always wrong.
Once you internalize the baseline of a normal patient, the Anomalies stop blending in. That is exactly what our how to spot guide trains you to do, and why we document every confirmed tell with the exact action to take.
Survive long enough to get good
Sanity is your real health bar. It drains when an Anomaly attacks you or a patient, when you stare at certain camera feeds, and when you look at cursed photos. You restore it with coffee and food from the shop. New players burn out because they panic and rush; veterans slow down, verify every patient, and keep a coffee ready before risky events like the Death Ritual. Read How to Survive to turn Sanity from a liability into a resource you budget on purpose.
Whether you are here to clear your first shift, grind cash for weapons, or push for a high-score run, the guides linked above will get you there. Bookmark the Anomalies hub — it is the page you will come back to most.
